Prayer Scripture Writing

Prayer is one of my absolute favorite things. I love it. My prayer life looks so different now than it did when I was a younger Christian. I didn’t understand the full benefits or the different ways to approach prayer. I absolutely love it. I am grateful that the Lord gave us such a precious and personal way of communicating with Him. You don’t have to be rich. You don’t need to hold some high position. Being well thought of is not necessary for God to hear you or to answer your prayer. You don’t have to have the perfect words. Sometimes prayer requires no words because God even knows the groaning of our hearts.

This subject touches me like none other. I feel like the Lord wants me to share some personal things with you all this month. It brings tears to my eyes just to think about it. Please pray for me that I will be diligent about what the Lord wants me to do. I am nobody. But I know without a shadow of a doubt that God loves me so much. I can come boldly to His throne with the broken pieces of my life. I completely trust that His answers are for my good.

Many times the last several months, the Lord has reminded me of some things He has taught me about prayer. I feel led to share them. I am nobody to this world (and that is SO okay!), my walk with the Lord is personal, and my prayer life is personal (in the closet!). I have mentioned before that I hesitate to share things. I don’t want people to think for one minute that I have it all together. I truly want the Lord to be glorified. I want you to know how amazing His grace really is.

I hope and pray that God will use the list this month to strengthen your walk with Him. May it comfort your heart. I pray it gives you great assuredness that He loves you. He cares about every single thing in your life, even those things that are hidden. There is no prayer to small to pray. God cares about the details. There is no problem too big that God can’t answer the prayer. There is truly victory in Jesus and because of that, the victory is yours in Him!
