Abraham was up in years, I mean, he was already old when Isaac was born! He had seen God answer prayers that seemed impossible. He and Sarah gave birth to Isaac when they were past childbearing age. Remember when God provided the Lamb at the last minute so that Isaac wouldn’t have to be used as a sacrifice.

Abraham had learned to trust God, and had a lifetime of experience as proof of God’s faithfulness and provision.

When it was time to find a wife for Isaac, he trusted God. He believed God would go before him and put things in place. God did not disappoint.

This is a beautiful story, highlighting Gods provision in all areas & His presence in the details of our lives.
