Hello friends! This months scripture writing is about the Christian family. (Makes me want to sing “we are fa-mi-ly, I got all my sisters with me”).

When we got saved and accepted Jesus as our Savior, we became a part of Gods family. We have many brothers and sisters in Christ, with God as our Heavenly Father.

We are privileged to be in Gods family, and we have new privileges and responsibilities as His children. We are responsible to the Lord, and to and for one another. As you write through the scriptures this month, make a note of some of these privileges and responsibilities.

We are to love one another, encourage each other as we minister, and comfort one another in daily battles and trials. We can’t just love when it’s easy, we have to love each other when it’s hard, too.

I have been encouraged by these scriptures to get some things in line that I have slacked on. I have also been reminded of the beauty and blessings involved in being part of Gods family. We aren’t family by name only, but blood relatives joined by His precious blood.
