Y’all have asked about instructions for the towel edges that I crochet- so here ya go!
These are great for gifts! You have time to whip up a few before Christmas! You can do it, girl!!

You need:
1 dishtowel
Yarn (I prefer cotton for this)
Crochet hook (I used H)
Yarn needle
Mark the short edge of the towel about every 1/2 inch.

I measure a piece of yarn 3x’s the length of the short side of the towel and then double it. I thread the needle with this and tie a knot in the end. Use that needle & thread to poke up through one end of the towel and do a blanket stitch along the whole edge for your border foundation.

When you get to the end, tie it off and leave alone for now. Get your yarn again and get your crochet hook ready to crochet. Join with a slip stitch to one end of your blanket stitch. Single crochet along the top of the blanket stitch (about 2-3 stitches per blanket stitch).

When you get to the end, chain 1, turn, and slip stitch in same stitch. *Skip a stitch, 5 double crochet in the next stitch, skip a stitch, slip stitch in next* continue pattern to the end. Tie off & weave in ends!
If you make one (or some!), I’d love to see them! Send me a picture or post yourself and use the hash tag #theartsofhome
