
This is one of my favorite “classic” iron skillet desserts!

Salted Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
Ingredients:
2 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 c all purpose flour
2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease 10-inch skillet . Cream butter and sugars till fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
In another bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking soda. Add it to butter/sugars mix. Blend lightly. Add chocolate chips.
Press into skillet and smooth the top. Sprinkle sea salt on top. Bake 45 minutes till puffy and golden. Let cool completely.
Yum! It’s great with a scoop of ice cream on top, too!
