Squash Casserole

This dressing is so good! It has a great taste and texture. It would be a great addition to your holiday meal and you can even use frozen squash!

Squash Dressing

2-3 cups diced yellow squash
2 cups cornbread (crumbled)
1/2 c butter (melted)
1 egg
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken
1 large onion (diced)
2 t sage (can also use poultry seasoning)
1/4-1/2 cup milk
Salt & pepper

Steam (or boil & drain) squash till tender – about 10 minutes. Grease 9×13 pan & preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients & pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or till set and lightly browned.
